Post #65 - A Season of Giving, Day 12

One of these days I'll catch back up and do a post the night before, which means I can pay long overdue gratitude to Jeff S. from Fan-Attic Sports Cards and enter P-Town Tom's 2017 card contest. But until then I will have to make myself happy with pilfering scans from the TCDB and just throwing together a quick post every morning. Maybe tomorrow will be the day!

The randomizer seems to favor John Sharp and Kin when it comes to autograph cards, although that was by default last time. Either way, John mentioned in the comments yesterday that he would like the Joe Oliver card sent to "Sigs for Soldiers"; Kin, that means you can take your pick of the other four. Let me know whatever you decide (once I get caught up on my TCDB messages).

On to today, back to the Hall-of-Famers and inserts theme. Again, with no time to scan I grabbed this from the TCDB

Today's card is this 2012 Topps "60 Years of Topps: The Lost Cards" #60YOTLC-10 Stan Musial. A "card that never was", the back describes Musial declining the Topps contract and thus how he never appeared in a Topps set.
