Lemoncat has sent over this LP rip of the first Bond film soundtrack. Although ALL the James Bond soundtracks can be found over on our "Bond Pages" this is the mono version, sounding just like it did in the cinema back in '62.This is very different to the rest of the series as this was composed by Monty Norman. Although Norman originally got credited as the composer of "The James Bond Theme", over the years it has come to be accepted that in fact it was written and arranged by the master himself John Barry. Norman has always claimed it as his own but anyone with a pair of ears (or even just one in the case of this mono version) can "see" that it is Barry's work. It's a simply incredible piece of arrangement that stands up as well today as it did back in 1962.
