The Liverpudlian usually inspires fewer headlines than the rest of the band, but she perhaps she was encouraged to be a bit bolder by the advent of Fashion Week.

She certainly left bandmate Kimberley Walsh in the shade as she opted for a much safer bright red Rodarte dress with cut-out panels on the bodice.

Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts usually has to compete for her fair share of attention with bandmates Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle and  Kimberley Walsh. 

And she has been on the receiving end of some brutal comments regarding her fair-skinned look. However, it seems that her confidence has grown, as she ditched her usual demure style for daring sheer embroidered jumpsuit.

The 24-year-old singer was seen at the 30 Days of Fashion And Beauty Gala Party at the Natural History Museum with bandmate Kimberley Walsh, and all eyes were on her brave choice of outfit.
