MADISON (WKOW) — Dozens of kids with the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County got a surprise on Wednesday.
They were taken on a trip to the Under Armour store on State Street in Madison. Each of the teenagers got a pair of new shoes and a piece of apparel for free.
The store teamed up with Acker Builders for the holiday gift.
The goal was to promote the idea of giving back.
“I asked them to look for someone who is looking sad or maybe that needs a friend and give them a kind gesture, and maybe when they’re wearing these new clothes, they will do that and it’ll remind them to do that,” said Jenny Acker, the vice president of Acker Builders.
